Certificate of analysis

A certificate of analysis is the document a laboratory issues for one specific batch, reporting what testing found in that batch. It is batch-specific: a certificate for a different lot tells you nothing about yours, which is why every figure below names the lot it came from.

Storage

Standard laboratory practice for a lyophilised peptide mixture: sealed, cold, protected from light, brought to room temperature before the vial is opened. Because the components differ in stability — the copper complex and the oxidation-sensitive residues in particular — a blend is no more stable than its least stable component.

Description

Glow is not a peptide. It is three separate peptides — GHK-Cu, BPC-157 and TB-500 — combined in a single vial. The three are not present in equal amounts, and we do not publish the split: the ratio comes from the supplier's documentation, and until we hold that document we would be guessing at it. Each of the three is sold individually on this site and each has its own literature, of varying quality and quantity. The combination has none, and that is the single most important thing to understand about this product.

Each component has a separately proposed mechanism. GHK-Cu is a copper-carrying tripeptide studied in connection with extracellular matrix chemistry — the scaffolding between cells — and with copper transport. BPC-157 is a gastric protein fragment studied in rodent tissue-injury models. TB-500 is a fragment of thymosin beta-4, a protein that binds actin inside cells. Combining them does not combine their evidence. Peptides in one vial can compete for the same clearance pathways, alter each other's stability in solution, or act on overlapping signalling, and the copper complex in particular has its own chemistry that a mixture does not leave untouched. No study of these three together has been published, so the mechanism of Glow as a product is unknown.

Sequence
A mixture, not a single molecule. Components: GHK-Cu (Gly-His-Lys with copper(II)); BPC-157 (Gly-Glu-Pro-Pro-Pro-Gly-Lys-Pro-Ala-Asp-Asp-Ala-Gly-Leu-Val); TB-500 (Ac-Leu-Lys-Lys-Thr-Glu-Thr-Gln-NH2).
