Certificate of analysis
A certificate of analysis is the document a laboratory issues for one specific batch, reporting what testing found in that batch. It is batch-specific: a certificate for a different lot tells you nothing about yours, which is why every figure below names the lot it came from.

Description
Thymosin beta-4 is a 43-amino-acid protein that occurs naturally in most human cells, where its main known job is binding actin. TB-500 is not that protein. It is a seven-amino-acid fragment corresponding to the part of thymosin beta-4 that does the actin binding — a small piece of a larger molecule, synthesised separately. The distinction matters, because studies of the full protein are not studies of this fragment.
Actin is one of the most abundant proteins in your cells and forms the internal scaffolding that lets cells hold their shape and move. Thymosin beta-4 binds actin monomers and influences how they assemble into filaments, which is relevant to any process involving cells migrating — including the cell movement that happens during tissue repair. The fragment sold as TB-500 contains the actin-binding region, and the reasoning behind it is that this region carries the relevant activity. Whether the fragment behaves like the whole protein is a separate question from whether the whole protein does what is claimed of it.

Purity, physical form and solubility above are transcribed from the certificate of analysis for lot 024-T81-TSX. A certificate covers one batch — every lot we hold a document for. Fields still marked to be determined are not on that certificate.
