Certificate of analysis

A certificate of analysis is the document a laboratory issues for one specific batch, reporting what testing found in that batch. It is batch-specific: a certificate for a different lot tells you nothing about yours, which is why every figure below names the lot it came from.

Storage

Standard laboratory practice for a lyophilised peptide mixture: sealed, cold, protected from light, brought to room temperature before the vial is opened. A blend is no more stable than its least stable component, so handling is governed by whichever component degrades first rather than by an average.

Description

Wolverine is not a peptide. It is two separate peptides — BPC-157 and TB-500 — combined in a single vial in equal measure. Both are sold individually on this site and each has its own page, its own literature and its own sequence. The name is a market nickname that attached itself to this pairing; it is not a chemical designation and it does not appear in any published paper.

Each component has a separately proposed mechanism. BPC-157 is a fragment of a protein identified in gastric juice, studied in rodent tissue-injury models and associated in that work with growth-factor receptor expression and with angiogenesis. TB-500 is a synthetic fragment of thymosin beta-4, a protein involved in binding actin — one of the structural proteins inside cells. What a blend does is not the sum of what its parts do. Peptides can interact: competing for the same clearance pathways, altering each other's stability once in solution, or acting on overlapping signalling. Nobody has published a study of these two in combination, so the honest description of Wolverine's mechanism as a product is that it is not known.

Purity, physical form and solubility above are transcribed from the certificate of analysis for lot BB10-20260526. A certificate covers one batch — every lot we hold a document for. Fields still marked to be determined are not on that certificate.
